Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Yardi System Administrator and Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, support, and development of the Yardi platform, ensuring its efficient operation to meet the needs of our business operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and manage the Yardi system to support Property Management, Accounting, Leasing, and Asset Management functions.
  2. Act as Administrator/Super User for the software, managing permissions, setting up new properties, scheduling tasks, and configuring custom reports.
  3. Develop custom Yardi reports including YSR Reports, SQL scripts, and SSRS reports. Knowledge of PowerBI is advantageous.
  4. Define and document data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, and internal and external checks.
  5. Manage user security groups and new user setups.
  6. Oversee system upgrades, and testing existing business processes to ensure efficient rollouts.
  7. Maintain property lists and account trees to support reporting.
  8. Perform transaction and object deletion with appropriate approval.
  9. Monitor new entity/record set-up for completeness and consistency.
  10. Collaborate with Property Management, Accounting, and Leasing teams to capture requests and issues, consulting on Yardi functionality, and building project plans.
  11. Complete system customization or configuration as required.
  12. Provide user support including system training, troubleshooting, and documentation of system processes.
  13. Design and implement solutions to ensure Yardi database synchronization with other systems.
  14. Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders for updates and support.
  15. Stay current on Yardi product updates and new features.
  16. Experience in the Multifamily environment is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience with Yardi software applications, deep understanding of Yardi Voyager preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Property Management, Accounting, Leasing, and Asset Management functions.
  • Proficiency in developing custom Yardi reports and SQL scripting; familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
  • Ability to define and document data, workflows, and logical processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage system upgrades and user support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
